As the founder of Strom Design, I have been operating as a professional graphic design business since 1993, when I began by designing Yellow Page ads for Pacific Bell Directories. I quickly established a growing client list, and was soon busy performing a variety of graphic design services—logo design, brochure design and production, web design, and many other advertising-related services—for local businesses all over San Diego. In 2000, I submitted and launched my first website to the Internet search engines, and began servicing companies outside of San Diego as well. Now, I receive at least 15% of my business from the Internet. |

I believe that the key to a successful business lies in good service/products and effective advertising. A large advertising budget doesn’t necessarily result in a successful campaign. Smart advertising does. Smart advertising starts with the ability to understand your client’s needs, and the creativity to come up with the best way for your client to connect with their target audience. With this approach in mind, graphic design, a form of visual communication, will then be successful. |
